Follows Katherine Ravenscroft, a television documentary journalist whose work is based on exposing wrongdoing by long-respected institutions. Gary Oldman was originally rumored to be cast, but was replaced by Kevin Kline.

Such a lens would not be able to focus on close objects, for example selfies with Sasha or in the bedroom with Katrina. Never read the book, so judging the series as a stand-alone.

Clearly preparation for « spinning »

The series is too long, too drawn out. It was intriguing and mysterious for the first few episodes, but by episode five I was like, « Oh my god, wrap it up already. » Katrina’s silence/constant interruption when she tries to tell her side just seems like a plot device to keep the story going.

The constant, detailed sex scenes are just comfortable

Literally porn. I don’t mind sex scenes, but if I want to watch "in detail" sex scenes that last ten minutes, my first choice for that would not be Apple TV+.
