Follows restless young man Chan Lok-kwan as he stumbles into the Walled City, discovers order amidst its chaos, and learns important life lessons along the way. A life-size replica of the walled city of Kowloon, almost identical to the real thing, was built for filming.

Maybe a repeat viewing and it will be a 7

The whole movie feels rushed and doesn’t feel satisfying until the end of the movie. It could have been better if the movie had a longer duration or maybe split into 2 parts.

Too many fight scenes, but unfortunately none memorable

. Before the fight scene should be tense, think SPL Donnie vs Wu Jing on the rooftop or the Winter Soldier elevator fight.

The cinematography and colorful character are perfectly created

Raymond Lem is convincing as the character and much better than his role in New Kungfu Cult Master. The film needs a preface to explain the flashback in depth.
