There is a mid-credits scene

A single father and two women risk the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures to save the life of a young boy. When the scientist first tries to create a « magic bullet » #39; in the lab, the cartridge is placed in a magazine, loaded into the gun, and fired at the target – without (chambering) loading the cartridge before firing.

While it looked fairly generic, it’s not the worst I’ve ever seen

destroyed, and those who survive do so only because they have learned that the creatures cannot exceed 8,000 feet. The crux of the film’s story is that a small group of survivors must travel to a dangerous area to obtain life-saving supplies.

Anthony Mackie and Monica Baccarin did well here – especially with Monica when her character had a moment of emotional distress

The ending felt a little too compressed, and because of that, it probably could have benefited from a little more minutes in this section. While it was clearly inspired by other films that did better, it added a unique twist to things that made it at least interesting enough to not hate it.

Also, there’s a little inter-credits scene to watch if you’re interested

The main things that jumped out at me as negatives were the typical perfectly timed scenarios that happened towards the end and the predictable character deaths/situations that occurred. Other than that, I didn’t feel it was flawed enough to recommend a hard pass.
