The incident with Valya Harkonnen using voiceover is from one called « Mentats of Dune. » The development of the Sisters, Mentats, Navigators, and Suk Doctors intertwines throughout all three books.

However, your expectations need to be realistic

I’ve been eagerly awaiting Dune: Prophecy since I first heard about it. Then I saw the trailers and my excitement grew even more. Well, having seen it, I can say that it definitely lived up to my expectations.

You won’t want to wait a week between episodes, it’s that good

If you’re expecting something as perfect as the Dennis Villenueve-directed films, then you’re going to be disappointed, but if you go into this expecting something that’s perfectly paced, captivating, and deeply invested in each episode, then you’re going to love it. The world-building that goes on and the attention to every detail is as good as any TV show. This series is best watched in a loop because I can promise you that once you finish an episode, you won’t want to wait a week to start the next one.
